Pavel Kiselev es un artista ruso de origen búlgaro con un portofolio impresionante. Aunque no nos informa de su edad si sabemos que no es un joven principiante, y que su primera exposición fotográfica la realizó a los doce años. Desde entonces ha tenido tiempo para reflexionar sobre la naturaleza, la creatividad, las artes y la fotografía y el lugar que ocupa todo ello en la vida, y a pesar de que lo intentó con todo tipo de artes (pinturas, dibujos, cerámica, talla de madera, tapicería…) hace ya más de 25 años que participa en el mundo de la fotografía activamente. Para Pavel Kiselev el proceso creativo más importante es la manifestación de la naturaleza humana. Es en el cuerpo femenino y el desnudo donde encuentra su mejor expresión, que no la única, pues hay sitio para retratos, paisajes, y diferentes fotocomposiciones donde nos muestra su gran talento que le ha valido el reconocimiento necesario para poder exponer en galerías importantes tanto públicas como privadas, así como el trabajo para diferentes publicaciones.

En el año 2004 establece su Escuela del Arte dentro de la Academia Internacional de la Fotografía de la que él es el director y desde donde también ayuda a desarrollar su talento y enseña a nuevos valores. Pavel trabaja tanto en estudio como en exteriores, aunque dice preferir estos últimos, o bien estudios improvisados en localizaciones diversas. Siente la fotografía como un Arte, como la percepción del mundo circundante. No es fácil escoger unas cuantas fotografías en su extenso catálogo, daría para dos post, pero hemos escogido las que podrían considerarse entre las más eróticas y sensuales por la la fusión de cuerpo y color en un matiz que a la vez provoca diferentes matices, por el tratamiento de la imagen y el entorno para dar una sensación plana pero a la vez compleja.
