Fred Einaudi es un pintor nacido en Nevada y que reside actualmente en San Francisco. Su obra esta llena de contrastes, su encanto radica en esa mezcla entre lo real y lo irreal, entre la inocencia de la niñez y la muerte, tema este que toca a menudo y que pasa a ser su principal motivo a la hora de pintar y la razón de encontrar numerosas calaveras o máscaras en sus pinturas. Einaudi juega con los contrastes y así sus imágenes realistas se encuentran rodeadas de elementos fantásticos y grandes dosis de fina ironía que parecen burlarse de las escenas típicas en la pintura. En una entrevista realizada con el pintor, ante la pregunta de tres adjetivos que definan su obra, este nos dice “Podría, ser, mejor” y nos aclara que aunque solo uno es un adjetivo resume el sentimiento que en ese momento le genera su obra, que no es otro que cierto desencanto, el mismo que dice tener hacia el mundo que vivimos. Fred Einaudi es esencialmente un pintor de óleo sobre lienzo y cuenta entre sus artistas favoritos a Henri Rousseau, Van Gogh, Hans Memling, Jan Van Eyck y Franz Von Bayros, y entre los artistas vivos destaca a Richard Estes y Alex Kanevsky.
